Teaching at North Carolina Governor's School East
I started teaching at the NC Governor's School East at Meredith College early June 2015. It has been an incredible journey so far teaching these bright, bold young dancers! This photo was captured after a 40 minute installation peice comprised of the dancers' own movement and loosely structured improvisation scores. We collaborated with the Instrumental Music students and faculty team to create an eerie environment for viewers to weave in and out of an expansive, candle lit gymnasium full of sweaty dancers and droning crescendos.
